I join a group of divers in Layang Layang. Not the peak season, but it was OK. The vis was truely amazing. The deep blue dive was priceless. So marvelous and serene, and always rewarded with beautiful coral towards the end of dives.

It's been about a week since my wife and I climbed, and it wasn't until maybe yesterday that my legs stopped aching, even after 2 massages and loads of Tiger Balm. Nevertheless, I (at least-can't speak for my wife) do not regret it at all, though the aching muscles did put a little damper on the rest of our time in Kota Kinabalu.

Too much love this island this is my return since 2012-2017 every single year Spot hammerhead and wonderful coral marine life here Very peaceful and quiet island meal was awesome come with 5meal per day

People have to understand that this is an animal rescue centre and not a tourist zoo. The animals here have been rescued and saved from a terrible fate and are medically treated and looked after by very dedicated workers, many of them volunteers.

Longhouse was a good experience visit being one of the nearest from Kuching, approximately 1 hour drive. A nice place to see and experience Bidayuh way of living and culture. Suggest to visit Annah Rais hot spring which was another 10 minutes drive to experience hot spring and natural river

Myself and a friend did the Padas river white water rafting day trip with Riverbug. Many past reviews moan about the travelling time to reach the river but really that is part of the experience; on the train alongside locals and taking in the scenery. It's an early pick-up from KK, a 2 hour bus ride then 2 hour train to get to the river.
